Cookies Policy
What cookies this site uses, why, and how to change your choice at any time.
1. How consent works on this site
When you first visit, a banner asks whether to accept analytics cookies or continue with essential cookies only. Analytics cookies are not set until you actively accept them. Your choice is stored locally on your device so the site can remember it. We version this preference and ask again if the consent design materially changes or after an appropriate review period.
To change your choice at any time, use the “Cookie settings” control available on pages that use optional analytics, or the control in this page’s footer. Withdrawing analytics consent takes effect immediately; if a tracker had already loaded on the current page, the page reloads so it is no longer loaded.
2. Essential cookies (always on)
These are required for the site to function and cannot be switched off. They do not track you for advertising.
| Provider | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosting, DNS, security and performance. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary storage depending on the security/delivery features active for a request. |
3. Analytics cookies (only after you accept)
These help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. The analytics scripts are not requested from Google, Microsoft or Metricool until you actively accept analytics. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation are not enabled by our consent configuration.
| Provider | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | Aggregate site usage — pages viewed, traffic sources and conversions | Third-party analytics; consent required |
| Microsoft Clarity | Session and heatmap analytics, to understand how pages are used | Third-party analytics; consent required |
| Metricool | Website analytics used to measure visits and content performance | Third-party analytics; consent required |
4. Cookies from third-party services you interact with directly
Some pages embed or link to third-party services that may set their own cookies once you interact with them directly — for example, Stripe during licence checkout. These are governed by that provider's own policy, not by the choice made in our banner, because they're necessary to complete the action you've asked for (e.g. processing a payment).
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

PostHog product analytics
With analytics consent, this site may use PostHog to understand page and feature usage, navigation friction, errors and product performance. PostHog is not loaded when Essential only is selected. Analytics consent can be changed using Cookie settings.
